Corporate Paralegal

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)
A minimum experience of three (3) years in a paralegal role
Familiarity with the Real Estate Development-related legal issuances, Securities Regulation Code and relevant Corporate Laws;
Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to various levels of the organization;
Ability to work with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines
Good office management skills;
Personal and professional credibility;
Results-oriented; and
Computer literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. LEGAL DOCUMENTATION
1.1 Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes to prepare legal documents such as briefs, contracts, and other legal correspondence;
1.2 Analyze legal documents for accuracy.
1.3 Draft legal documents such as contracts and agreements;
1.4 Document minutes of meetings;
1.5 Organize an effective filing system and safe keep all documents such as, but not limited to, corporate minutes and resolutions;
1.6 Keep track of changes in legal framework and providing timely updates on these changes

2. CORPORATE MEETING COORDINATION
2.1 Coordinate schedule of all meetings and their attendees; and
2.2 Compile agenda kits of these meetings.

3. OTHER DUTIES
3.1 Support business activities relating to secured transactions, third-party services, procurement agreements and other related due diligence;
3.2 Assist internal clients in determining the applicability of regulatory and mandatory statutes; and
3.3 Carry out other relevant assignments as tasked by the President or other designated officers.
