Minimum Qualifications:

  • License Civil Engineer
  • With at least 5 years' experience as a Design Engineer for Low rise to midrise construction and civil works
  • Proficient with computer software like AutoCAD, Etabs, Staad, MS Office and Emails.
  • Ability to anticipate needs.
  • Effective planning and time management skills


Job Position Descriptions:

1. Direct, monitor and check engineering drawings, calculations, details, specifications and procedure for WRLD Projects.
2. Conducts regular site visits to check if drawings and specifications are being followed and standard procedures are properly carried out.
3. Direct, monitor and check all needed permits for all WRLD Projects.
4. Direct, monitor and check all documents required for the application of permits from the start up to completion of project.
5. Recruit employees: assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
6. Direct, monitor and check budgets, bill of materials and other related house construction cost.
7. Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.
8. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
9. Review and recommend subcontractors; review, check and prepare technical evaluation for all quotation/bids; prepare tender documents such as scope of works, specifications and all other related contract documents.

11. To coordinate with the planning department and prepare structural details and design features of the house and conducts meetings with the Foreman and other concerned personnel on a regular basis and to maintain constant communications with the group. Coordinate with his/her superior for every milestone, accomplishment and problem that needs to be solved.
12. To collect and organize information concerning filed problems and questions; he/she shall coordinate with other units to address the concerns properly.
13. Responsible in reporting to his/her superior any major problems with possible solutions for resolution.
14. To Initiate to be innovative in using new tools, new materials, equipment and new standard of process flow.
15. Determine and approve sickness, vacation, emergency and other leave of his/her subordinates.
16. Delegate workloads in equal and fair manner based on the limitation of capability and capacity to each of his/her subordinate.
17. Responsible in monitoring and making sure that the safety and security; and rules and regulation of the company are followed.
18. Responsible in monitoring and making sure that all issued Service Vehicles and tools issued to his department properly taken care of, maintained in good working condition and provide possible solution to lessen maintenance work and repair.
19. Responsible in initiating an incentive program/system rewarding merits for the best performer and demerit for the mediocre and worst performer.
